UPDATE: Good Change, Bad Challenge
I wanted to send out a quick note of apology for the absence this month! There have been a few changes and challenges that happened right at the beginning of October.
Good Change:
I took on a new role at KTIV as the Community Impact Reporter. I have spent the last month switching over in a more active role in our community when it comes to story gathering and I absolutely loved making the literal switch turning off my 3 AM alarm! October has brought several new people into my life when it comes to the TV world and I am excited to see the partnerships bloom and help bring a smile to people’s face as they watch the 5, 6 or 10 o’clock news in Siouxland.
Bad Challenge:
On My first week at the new role I took a tumble on the job (over my tripod of course) and sprained my right ankle. It was a moment to pause and slow down for a few weeks, but I knew I wanted to hit the ground running in this new job. I just didn’t mean literally! So I have been recovering from that fall and glad to share I am on the mend.
I’ll get back to some normal Siouxland themed posts in the near future. I wanted to provide an update for those who don’t follow me on Facebook. (Feel free to follow my professional page where I post daily about the reporter life!)
Happy (almost) Halloween!
